GIMP 2.10.28
Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS snap installed

I am trying to install the Photolab CurveBatch plug-in, does this plug-in work with 2.10.28, I know you have to edit a if statement but I cannot get it to show in the filter menu, even after creating a folder in the plug-in folder in preferences.

The Photolab plug-ins are python and there is no python support in the 'buntu snap installation. 

Alternatives
Dump the snap and install the flatpak Gimp which comes with python support. see the http://www.gimp.org page for a link
or use this PPA
https://launchpad.net/~savoury1/+archive/ubuntu/gimp
Follow the instructions on that page. It is the one I use, (k)ubuntu 20.04 / Gimp 2.10.30
