A Search For Missing Belgian Tourist Céline Cremer In Tasmanian Wilderness
#4
Quote:Thank you for your attention to this topic, which is being followed with great interest here in Belgium.

I'm glad this case has been followed in Belgium. The sad ending to a holiday in Tasmania brings-up some issues for future visitors from around the World. I watched all of Rob Parson's videos because I like this area. It was nice when Celine's friends took part in the search. There should be more advice and guidance for 'adventurers' who like to get right into the wilderness.

There are some good phone apps provided you don't lose your phone. Also a personal distress beacon should be carried. Maybe they could be rented? Rob also does prospecting and those who get into it have a deep respect for nature and also the 'old timers'. The old guys found minerals around Tasmania in impenetrable scrub and with basic tech.

Philosopher Falls where Celine was visiting was named after this old timer.
