I need some help. I am trying to remove this stick in the picture. Can you please offer some suggestions or do it for me?

Thanks,

I have to concede that my digital drawing and painting skills, using healing and cloning tools, are, in their own ways, every bit as illegible as my handwriting ...

I would go the @meetdilip way with the heal selection if you have the plugin as it takes only few seconds
Or
Filters > G'MIC-Qt > Repair > Inpaint[Patch-Based] (yes it's also a plugin > https://gmic.eu ) and takes only few seconds as well
How to use it > https://patdavid.net/2014/02/getting-aro...ware-fill/
(and I did not move even a single slider....)

The cloning tool can be good as well if you don't want to download any plugins, if you master it, it will do wonders!
In most cases the cloning tool will surely help to very-fine tune what plugins did, means you'll need to learn it anyway > https://docs.gimp.org/2.10/en/gimp-tool-clone.html

I have used Gimp on and off for a couple of years but still consider myself a beginner.  I am constantly learning new things.  In addition to clone and heal I use free select and gaussian blur.

With free select first I trace the area I want to replace.  Then change to move and ctrl alt and drag the selection line to an area in the image that looks like it would be a good fit.  Then copy.  Then undo to move the selection line back to its original position and then paste.  I did this image  in three selections.  Then follow up with clone and heal as necessary.

I use gaussian blur to blend in the edges.  I trace the edge I want to blend and then select blur.
