Brush pack
#1
I learned how to make a single brush .gbr file. Is it possible to have more than one brushes in a single .gbr file ? ie, a brush pack .gbr file.

Something with 5-6 brushes which can act as a single brush inside GIMP but can be installed using one .gbr file. Thanks.

No, nothing like a PS .abr brush set. What is possible is;

Keep sets of brushes in folders.
Put the brush folder(s) in your Gimp User profile brushes folder.
If Gimp is already open, Refresh the brushes (icon bottom of Brushes dock).
Filter the brushes according to the folder name.
Removing is the reversal of that process.

As with most thing Gimp there is a plugin to automate that addonCollectionManager-3.0.py date 2013-05-26
see: http://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-too...s/scripts/
..and a description of the setup here: http://gimp-tools.sourceforge.net/managementtools.shtml

This is the one I use all the time, although I do use a config file to suit my usage.

Thanks. I saw a few .abr brush packs. So thought GIMP can do that as well. Nice to get the correct info. No point in wasting time over this.

Gimp can use PS .abr brushes, (older ones, new ones use built in dynamics not recognised by Gimp)
