Help! My brush tool is dotting. Instead of a smooth stroke, its leaves dots evenly spaced. I cant figure out why its doing this.

Often it is the brush spacing which has been set by the user.

It is a percentage of brush size, check that first.

   

Do not know which version of Gimp you are using ?
