Hi,

I am using the bucket tool but instead of filling with the chosen color it fills with a lighter tone. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I can think of 5 at the moment. There are probably more.

1) The layer opacity is set to less than 100%

2) The Bucket Fill opacity is set to less than 100% in the Tool Options

3) It is an indexed image. Set to RGB
Image > Mode

4) Layer mode is set to something other than Normal

5) The Bucket Fill mode is set to something other than Normal n the Tool Options
