Can't ctrl-f through font list
#1
I'm running GIMP on MacOS and attempting to use some custom fonts. If I try to ctrl-f (or rather cmd-f on Mac) while in the font dialog list it will bring up the little search bar but typing won't work, and then it will disappear after 5 seconds as expected. So I can't search for fonts at all. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

On Linux, typing works but it doesn't select the font. OTOH there is a filter bar at the top that works....

Is cmd - f (ctrl - f in non-mac) a mac specific thing ? I do not have that in linux. Unfortunately not many MacOS users here.

The options I have for Fonts is:

1) In the fonts dock the keyboard cursor keys (up ↑ / down ↓) move though the dock and change the active font.
2) In the Font Tool Options the scroll wheel scrolls through the font list and changes the active font.
3) In the on-canvas text tool with selected text the font name will display a list of fonts for a partially entered name.
