Can Gimp include the path info in some image format?
#1
Hi! I read somewhere that tiff, and jpeg2000 can include the mask paths info in the file itself. Im working in scribus and looking the way to make the wrap around images the more easier possible. This would be a great thing, but appear that Gimp cant do that, but not sure if is possible in v3.

For Scribus, I assume you are using this.

I do know that Gimp 3 can import a clipping path in a photoshop jpeg . I do not think Gimp 3 can export that yet, but I might be wrong.

I do not know about jpeg2k format but try a tiff. This showing Gimp 3.1.4 (appimage) and the inset is it open in an ancient PS7.

Hi! Thanks!. I found that the easier way, at least for what i do, is to export the path from Gimp, in svg format. For any given image with transparent background, you just select it, invert the selection, create a path from the selection, and then export to svg.
