Yes, presentation software helps too, but exporting as GIF is very hard.

@meetdilip, forgot to mention the link in previous post (screen to gif capture), use online or other programs for animations, capture the animations directly to a gif file and use gimp in combination with ofnuts tools to combine the gif with other gifs or images you want, just a tip :
