I'll try, I think I can revert to the current situation in case something doesn't work as expected right?
In that case I would just remove the new shortcut in preferences, return the renamed name (removing the x in gmic_gimp_qt.exe.x ) and delete the user.gmic file, right!?

It seems to have worked perfectly as it should!
Updated to 3.1.6 with 585 filters and the filter

At the moment I don't have time, but I tested the Tangential Circles filter with default values and it worked!

I confess that I was afraid, and generally I would not venture into this type of change, but in rich2005 I trust! :-)
