Coincidence or not, that is the question

For a lunar eclipse to happen, the Moon must be exactly behind the Earth as seen from the sun. 14 days later, the Moon has made half an orbit, so goes is now in front of the Earth as seen for the Sun, in the position necessary for a solar eclipse to happen.

So there are coincidences, and there is astronomy.

Ofnuts,

I understand that there's astronomy and that the Earth is flat, etc.

I'm referring to the coincidence here, which is that I suddenly thought of this topic (eclipses) in the middle of the night, and while wandering, I decided to check out an app dedicated to this topic. And after a few minutes of checking the app, I realized that it was precisely the day an eclipse was going to occur.

I could have had this moment of curiosity any day of the year, but I happened to have it on the day of an eclipse.

PS: Just joking about the flat Earth.
