Color grading in gimp
#1
Hi,
I would know if there is an alternative to Adobe Capture for getting color samples and doing color grading.

I would know if an immage satisfy a color scheme (monocrome,analogous,complementary,...)

Thanks

Gimp forum here Smile You will have to tell us what Ad*be Capture does and even then unlikely there is a direct Gimp equivalent.

You could try the Gimp plugin gimp_gmic_qt http://www.gmic.eu  There are linux packages, if your linux is missing, give the version and there might be a fix.

Some of the filters shown here:  https://i.imgur.com/1djRqRK.jpg Top to bottom
A basic color-grading filter to tweak color values
Color Presets, there are hundreds of these. (560 by my count)
Use your own look-up-table (CLUT) if you have a favourite.
Simulate film filter - various types of color / monochrome filters replicating types of film  Agfa / Ilford ..etc

There are other filters as well, say use one image to apply an effect to another. Too many to show. Have a look at the gmic site for examples.
