Colour->Compose Only 1 Layer(?)
#1
Hi all - hope someone can help!

After I import 3 monochrome .tif files as separate layers and go to the Colours->Components>Compose i only see the top layer to select for each channel not the other 2 layers. Tried opening as layers; openeing separately and copying as layers, etc but no luck. This process works on other laptop with GIMP. This is a fresh install of GIMP. Is there a setting I am missing or ...? thx

Are the tif's greyscale (for compose) or RGB mode.

TIF's are in greyscale mode.

.. Also it I open the files individually they show up in the compose drop downs. but if I open as layers or copy as a new layer only the top layer shows up in the compose drop down...

For what its worth, open as layers works here with greyscale tif's. As your comment This process works on other laptop with GIMP

What version of Windows and Gimp are you using ?
