Creating a marks with an equal distance along a path
#1
Hi, I'm looking to add marks that are spaced equally along a path. Is that possible? I've attached an example of what I'm trying to accomplish.
Thanks!

Maybe one of the clever guys will come up with dividing a path into equal sections.

The problem is with standard Gimp you can stroke a path, with a paint tool, but the interval is a percentage of the 'tool' size
Adjust the spacing to suit, ends up trial-and-error. ctrl-z (back-off) is your friend.

However, that is not the same as your example which is not exactly equal spacings. Nice dots on the acute angles but not equal spacing.

OTOH maybe the script already exists somewhere.
