Rich, your instructions were so detailed that I wanted this to work on the first try but I tried it many times with no success. The worst part is when I did both manipulations at once like your example my output directory is empty.
The batch cropping works perfectly so I then tried using the directory with the cropped files as the direct input to the ofn tiles script as one manipulation and although I did get output that time the output images were identical to the input. I even reinstalled Python 2.7 though I didn't reboot. Let me show you my work. I will say that this is rather humiliating
