Keyboard Shortcuts in different OS
#1
Hi! Using Gimp keyboard shortcuts really make things faster. I recently installed Lubuntu and Gimp. Nice! But first thing i noted was that the usual "ctrl+alt+mouse scrollwheel" that increase and decrease the size of the brush, was assigned to the system virtual desktops. Bad! I guess i can make changes in Lubuntu of in Gimp. I wonder how you manage this issue? Would be nice to be consistent across different systems, so, when you open Gimp you forget where you are working.
Thanks

That should not happen if the mouse is in an active Gimp window.  OK if outside Gimp then here in kubuntu the mouse wheel alone switches desktops. I did run an xubuntu chromebook one time and the settings are not always obvious with these lightweight DM's

The wheel settings are in Edit -> Preferences -> Input Devices -> Input Controllers where you can set whatever you like (within reason)

..but if you need Gimp consistency between between different installations then you need to take your Gimp user profile with you. All the settings are in there.

Thanks! Yes, custom has force in your hands! haha. I didnt mention that i was in Lubuntu, in a vmachine. When pressing ctrl+alt+scrollwheel inside gimp, my lubuntu virtual desktop switched.  No really a problem for me, but good to know about it.
