Thank you for your reply. I wasn't as precise in my original message as I should have been. I should have said that everything outside of the section I have changed (rotating, scaling, etc.) on the Canvas of my image is "blacked out". And, unlike the earlier version of GIMP, there is no Preview of this, therefore, since I don't see it has happened, I don't undo it via the Edit function. Forgive me, but I am a GIMP amateur and because of that I do not necessarily understand your reply. Can you simplify your reply?
