Hi, I tried using an image in the folder " splashes " but nothing happened. Is it possible to customise the splash screen in Windows 10 ? Thanks.

That should work. C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\splashes https://i.imgur.com/yw4vZ0P.jpg

It might be your image size / format. Try and get something working with a small (640 x 480) png image and if that works, try something larger, more complicated

Um... a Windows limitation? I'm asking because I have a 1920x1200 .jpg and it works just fine ( /home/patrice/.config/GIMP/2.10/splashes ) and on my appimage I got a ... 3840 x 2160 ... Wow why I left it to that size?? ( /home/patrice/.config/GIMP-AppImage/2.10/splashes )
Could it be spaces in the name? (none of my splashscreens have spaces in the name)
