Gimp 3.x scanner xsane plugin is now available!
#21
I see the problem but I do not have a fix.  Not many EndevourOS (or Arch) users on this forum but maybe someone will respond.

I see from your specs that the display is Wayland.   That might be the problem although the plugin was updated for that
see: https://yingtongli.me/git/gimp-xsanecli/...89755e7b95  Check that you are using the latest plugin.
Is XWayland also installed ?

Otherwise, the usual checks.

In a terminal start xsane - does it work ?
This is my usual wireless printer/scanner rather than that other USB scanner, which is easier to set up. The wireless scanner opens up xsane as (warnings but it works)

Start Gimp in a terminal  gimp --verbose and when open File -> Create -> Xsane via CLI   Look for any error messages in the terminal.

You might be better off asking in the EndevourOS forum.
