That then becomes the 'clipboard' pattern - the very first pattern shown.
Use that in your 1980x1080 canvas with the bucket fill tool. Use a transparent layer. For an image with transparency export as: .png / .gif / .tif all support transparency (sometimes depends on the video editor as to what can be used)
