Image on Transparent background coming up light
#1
HELP!
I created a .png image with transparent background by selecting add alpha channel, then selecting the background colour and clicking on colour to alpha which made what seemed like a perfect .png image. However, whenever I cut and paste it, it comes up 10X lighter than the actual image (which is in greyscale, not set to greyscale just devoid of any other colours).
I've tried darkening the image so it was still legible and it always comes out very light.
I've made plenty of .png images, and this is the first time this has occurred.
Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you in advance!
