I searched but did not find my answer to this:
I am in China using a Windows 10 PC running the o/s in simplified Chinese. I cannot change the operating system language. I downloaded GIMP 2.10 and specified English; however, during installation, due to my o/s, it installed in Chinese. My Chinese is not good enough to use the program in it. I would like to switch the language of the program to English. Can this be done? How? Thanks!

Edit>Preference>Interface>Language

Or edit the gimprc file in your Gimp profile, and replace/add a line that reads (language "en_US") or (language "en_GB") and restart Gimp.

Thanks! I found the Chinese versions of your first suggestion and got the interface language to change. Obliged!
