Un-Flatten Image
#1
Hi

I got this texture template where I have divided up the image to layers for the texture for a certain part of my model. I unfortunately forgot to save the current structure's texture to my project and had just exported it as a flat image. I have the structure but in a transparent canvas and a flat image. So I was wondering if there is a faster way to convert the flat image to my layer structure except going through them, one by one, and manually move the flattened image textures to my layers?

If all your textures are the same size in the flattened image, you can try my ofn-layer-tiles script to split your image back into individual layers.

Thanks, but can I ask how I use it?

What values should I have in the parameters or is there a graphical interface for these scrips?

You find it in the menus:

Layer > Tiles > Split tiles (by rows and columns)
or
Layer > Tiles > Split tiles (by width and height)

See attached image (from 2.10)
