#1
Hey every1. I'm trying to do this "untitled.png". ( I want some spacing in between the model and the outline)

However, I get this "strokevroundigpic...".

Could you guys please help me

I think I might do it this way. Some reference screenshots: https://i.imgur.com/XsAunyr.jpg

The foreground extraction is fine. Select that layer (1) and use Layer -> Transparency -> Alpha to Selection
That gives an outline selection.
In a new transparent 'outline' layer, Use Select -> Grow with a large value, I used 300.

Just a note, the more you grow the selection, the more it loses shape. With too large a value all the shape goes and you might as well just paint in an outline by hand. (might be the way to go anyway)

Now fill the selection with your required colour. (2)

Repeat the process. Top layer, alpha-to-selction, onto the new-outline layer, grow the selection, this time with a smaller value (200).
Use Edit -> Cut to remove the excess, leaving the outline (3)
Kill the selection Select -> None
