hi,

Maybe you can answer this.

does GIMP export/save to type PDF/A FORMAT?
I can't really find any info on what type of pdf GIMP can save to.

Gimp exports to PDF 1.5 (as of 2.10). PDF/A is mostly a set of restrictions on PDF. Since Gimp's PDFs are very basic and only contain raster images (no text, & fonts, audio, video, encryption, javascript...) the only problem could be with the color profile of the images.
