Pixel enlarge
#1
Hi all, I am trying to get my head around Gimp and graphic software as a whole and clearly I am a bit thick on the subject so I appologise in advance for my question.   I have an image that is 226 x 223 pixels, a website says that is an option in Gimp that will up the quality when I scale it. Low and behold the option isnt available in the Gimp I'm using. I have attached a picture. Is it somewhere else in Gimp?

Thanks

The 'Sinc (Lanczos3)' is no longer in 2.10.  Maybe someone here knows how to bring it back.  Personally, I use 'No Halo' for everything now.  I think it is (maybe) better.  I never could tell much difference between 'Sinc (Lanczos3)' and Cubic.

As far as I know, any scaling algorithm will not improve the quality.  At best it will preserve some quality.
