Plugins for Gimp on OSX
#1
I'm about as new to Gimp as I am to this forum. While browsing the forum I've noticed that several plugins have issues with the latest versions of Gimp on OSX. That's a bummer of course, but I'm sure there are plenty of great plugins that do work. For the OSX users with Apple chipsets, what would be the most useful plugins to install and experiment with in Gimp?

GIMP on OSX was a project from Simone (lisanet.de) which stopped in ~2017/18, it was GIMP 2.8 and Simone did include in the DMG some good plugins like Resynthesizer, G'MIC, and so on, latest checked he did remove everything GIMP on its website.

I got lucky as of 2016 I ditched MacOSX for good and switched to Linux.

You can still download GIMP On OSX (2.8) there > https://sourceforge.net/projects/gimponosx/files/ or over-there https://web.archive.org/web/201808121637...nload.html but GIMP 2.10, no, never existed with GIMP On OSX, and for sure it will not work on the latest macOS especially the ones with the Apple chip
