Resynthesizer install

I was told that this plugin is very useful. However, the above link directs to GIMP Registry which says it is closed now.

It will be great to find out how to use it in Kubuntu 20.04. Thanks.

Get the plugins from here: https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-Gimp-2...1#pid11261

Un-zip and put in your snap plugins folder: https://i.imgur.com/KcmoJhb.jpg Make sure the plugins are still executable (they should already be executable)

The resynthesizer plugin is really for making patterns, especially seamless tiles. Filters -> Map -> Resynthesize eg: https://i.imgur.com/Tk3l54D.jpg

But more comonly used these days with the add-on python plugin heal-selection. Use it to remove (small) objects. Filters -> Enhance -> Heal-selection https://i.imgur.com/xR90Vp6.jpg
