Surface Laptop Studio pen not working
#1
So I recently got a surface laptop studio and the pen to go with it, it's a touchscreen and it's specifically designed for drawing, but it would seem that gimp can't distinguish the pen from the cursor, and thus it's not detecting any pressure, nor does the other side function as a second pen. Any way to fix this?

No replies ? You might have to wait for another touchscreen user to come along.

There have been bug reports, all sorts of issues, this one about pressure

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/issues/2618

Goes back a bit but there is a reference to having WinTab drivers installed. (whatever they are)

You might try the 2.99 development version  as the last comment in the bug report.

edit: If you go here https://download.gimp.org/gimp/v2.99/windows/ there is the latest Gimp 2.99.14  installer. Only released a couple of days ago. This will co-exist with your Gimp 2.10.32

Giving it a try in a Win10 VM In Edit -> Preferences this might be useful
