Upgraded to 2:10 Where did my tool box go ?
#1
Shocked
Up to 2.8, I always saw my Toollox on top-left side.
Upgraded to 2:10 Where did my tool box go ?

Have tried to add it back but cannot see any option.
Tried restting tool otions to default, and no change.

I have gone from being able to use 2.8, to be unable to use 2.10.
Why was there no warning when I upgraded ?

Thanks.

From the information you supplied, you are using Android, Linux and Other Unixen with Gimp version 2.8

What are you really using? or is it just an Irish thing?

That is the default. In the past and now.

Do you see just a small collection of dots?
Have you lost all the icons?
Where did you get Gimp 2.10 from?
Are you using a 32 bit version of Windows?

Should be fixable but need the details

edit: sorry no images seen here

Quote:I use all platforms mentioned(& BSD). Should have been more clear in this instance running Gimp 2.10 on Win7 x64 What makes you think I am Irish? When I filled in the forum profile there was no mention of Nationality being asked. Anyway, is there a biggoted policy to descriminate againt Irish people, that I missed earlier ? Yes, I see the tiny dots, that toggles through. Got Gimp from Gimp from https://www.gimp.org/news/2018/07/04/gim...-released/ I reintalled with next most recent version, which seems to be a bug fix.Can now see the missing Toolbox :-) -----------------------------------------------------

Ok that is the Windows installer gimp-2.10.4-setup-1.exe which should work ok in a Win7 64 bit machine
Not going to get you very far in Android however.

I do see the collection of dots. So that is a glitch? Do I have to download the latest version to fix the problem?
