A bit off topic, but "in the modern trend" reminds me of an article I read some months ago relating to mobile phones. Apart from "dark themes are really cool" one belief is dark theme uses less battery power. It was found that dark theme users then increased screen brightness to compensate, No savings.
I have in my archive an old PS7 ... and .. no dark themes then.
