Where is icon to start gimp when installed with macports
#1
I have installed gimp 2.10 with macports because I was unable to get it to run from the gimp 2.10 download.

Now that it has been installed by macports, how can I run it by selecting it in my Applications file?  I have to open terminal and enter gimp on the command line to get it to run at this time.

I have macOS Mojave 10.14.6.

Very few experienced Mac users ever visit this forum. I use linux so just looking around.

1. Does this correspond with your installation procedure? https://smallbusiness.chron.com/installi...31453.html (at the end it mentions X11 AFAIK that is no longer required)

2. Try some other version Partha http://www.partha.com produces a Gimp 2.10 Not 2.10.12 - problems with that but Gimp 2.10.8 which should be ok.

Thank you for showing me where I can find the gimp icon to start gimp from applications. I would never have thought to look there.
