The time is about 0900 GMT for ofnuts log

The problem with gimp format images is on my installation.
My regular browser, slimjet will download a something.xcf or something.xcfgz but konqueror does give an option. XnView works for most formats including xcf but not for xcfgz / xcfbz2
Would I normally want to open an image in Gimp, while I am browsing probably not, download for later which I suspect most will do.

No-one tried a tif, here goes LZW compressed tif

ahh..
Please correct the following errors before continuing:
  • The type of file that you attached is not allowed. Please remove the attachment or choose a different type

This is the same saved as a xcfgz, both about the same size.

.xcfgz   open_in_browser.xcfgz (Size: 56.21 KB / Downloads: 68)

Added TIFF type. It will likely not be displayed as an image. Currently uses the default image icon, if you provide the adequate 16x16 png I can change that.

A 16x16 icon, not much scope there, will this do.

Just for info, which types are enabled at present?

I think the testing threads like this one, yes.

I think that the Gallery posts that myself and Ofnuts have done can stay - could you try linking to one of your videos using the "Insert a video" button.

That works perfectly.

I can't imagine it's using forum bandwidth as it doesn't play if I have NoScript blocking YouTube.
