That is an issue with BIMP. You should ask the BIMP maintainer.  Unfortunately not possible to use a file-save "other procedure" with BIMP.

If you go to Gimp menu Help -> Procedure Browser and search for dds you can see the parameters for file-dds-save. 

It should be possible to make a script-fu batch file, see: https://thegimptutorials.com/how-to-do-b...rocessing/
