Does someone please know how to change a color in a gimp image, but doing this through perl script ?

Changing a channel color would be prefect !

I don't find exactly this information on metacpan (Gimp ; Gimp:Fu).

Just exploring GIMP for the first time.
I keep all of my images on an External Hard Drive but when I try to open a file through File - Open in GIMP the External Drive does not appear.

Is there a way to make this possible?

The text tool justification options are there in the Tool Options.

Hi,
Coming from pre-Windows 3.1 times, with old unreliable MS Office Apps, I have a reflex action of saving my files every time I complete a few changes.

As a new learner I don't know when it is too soon to save changes to a file. Eg using Foreground Select Tool. I had completed the foreground select and before starting the background select I automatically tried to save the file. This last effort of three caused Windows to freeze completely. Half an hour later it became usable again, but the foreground selected was gone.

Does anyone know if there are guidelines anywhere for when it is safe to save work in progress? This would be very helpful and save a lot of time and effort.

Hello!

Here is a seed of "gimpfu.py" for Gimp 2.99.6. It comes with a test plugin "Add a mask and invert" which just inverts the colors of the selected layer and adds a white mask to it.

Installation : Put the "addAMaskAndInvert" directory (It contains "gimpfu.py") into the "plug-in" directory.

(The test is accessible by "Filters -> Development -> Tests -> Add a mask and invert".)

This is given with no warranties at all.

Hi, I started using Gimp a few weeks ago I think, not long basically, and I havent had problems with the exporting, until now. I will attach two screenshots of the two images (Pre- and Post Export)
If someone can  please tell me what may be the issue I will appreciate it a lot, as I have tried everything I can think of and its not fixing it. 
I have also noticed that when I merge the visible layers in Gimp it does the same color "corruption" thing. I dont know why.

Hi,

I recently paid for improving the faces in this picture (left picture) and they did a good job (right picture) it looks silky without being blurred and highlighted eyes, hair, etc.  

My question is how can I make the same effect with the rest of the body, flowers, etc? I mean well toned (Grayscale) without looking blurred/smudged or grained.

Any suggestion will be appreciated, plugin, procedure anything that can help a new user.

Using gimp 2.10.24 and gmic 2.9.7
Input picture for gmic colour mixer is RGB 8bit.
When I select a colour mixer and other tones range than all, then the colours are removed and all in gray.
When I select the tones range all, then the colours are changed as selected.
This is the case for all colour mixer shown in gmic.
Has anyone an idea what to do?

Messing around with the latest gmic filter Deformations -> Breaks  for an animation fade.
