Faster image export possible?

Can I export an image without the JPEG quality menu appearing every time? Now when exporting I have to click export three times: 'File/Export As', 'Export' (fill in file name) and 'Export' (choose JPEG quality). For a faster workflow I want to skip the last one (if possible)

When I try to import a png image with transparency, the checkers in the background remain there and not see through. I have tried right clicking the layer and adding "add alpha channel" and also doing layer>transparency>add alpha channel but it remains the same.

[SOLVED] Spacebar no longer pans canvas

This is more of a Linux question than a GIMP question, but since I first noticed this in GIMP I thought I would start here.
Using Kubuntu 22.04 and GIMP 2.10, I do not have the ability to use the spacebar to pan the canvas. This began when I first installed GIMP 2.10 in Kubuntu 22.04. This also affects Adobe Photoshop in a virtual Windows client. With previous versions of Ubuntu I had no problems with the spacebar in this context.
Have you come across this issue before, and/or what might be causing it?

I'm using GIMP 2.10.30.
I can't get the CLONE tool to COPY from the SOURCE. I keep on getting a pattern instead of the part of the
image I want to CLONE.

Hard Drive Failure: Now Install Location Option Unavailable

I recently had an old platter based 1tb drive fail. It was my D: drive. Gimp was on it.
Now when I attempt to reinstall Gimp on my new Solid State Drive "F:" the wizard doesn't offer location for install options.
Anyone else experience this?
I have no idea where the instruction for installing gimp on the now missing "D:" drive is being derived from... Even deleting the REGEDIT folder for GIMP did not stop the "pre installed at D:" issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
