error : gmic_gimp_qt.exe - Entrypoint not found

Hi , I am geve .  
I had been using gimp 2.8 until i download the updated version 2.10.2 .
when i open the new version this error message appears    :

gmic_gimp_qt.exe - Entrypoint not found

The procedure entry point g_date_copy could not be found
in the dynamic link library libglib-2.0-0.dll.

Can anyone help me.

Remove all the existing gmic_gimp_qt files.

Use the new Windows installer for Gimp 2.10 right at the top of here: https://gmic.eu/download.shtml

Edit: If you have problems with this latest Gimp 2.10.2 for Windows, you might need to try a clean install as this post:

Ugh no matter what i do i still get that entry point not found error message....I've uninstalled and reinstalled and i have wiped all traces of gmic from my computer and it still is happening

The old version will be there somewhere but if you have not found it by now unlikely you wil be able to fix it yourself.

Try the Partha version of Gimp 2.10.18 for windows, http://www.partha.com It installs in a different folder to the regular Gimp, although still uses the regular User profile C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10 which might be where the problem lies.

Might get Gimp 2.10 working for you.
