AFAIK for a 64 bit Win 7 where there is both C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86) Gimp always install to C:\Program Files even if 32 bit is forced. Just for info.
Back to basics
Open up: Edit -> Preferences -> Folders -> Plug-ins
Check on what is there:
Yeah.. the basic it's what I did in first place
tried to put directly the .exe and also pass by the installer in each folders, even both at the same time (which is stupid, I know, but it's Windows so...
), nothing is workingI will look tomorrow into what said Ofnuts about the task manager, but I have no hopes
(I might look pessimist, sorry about that today was a long day
