Your best course of action with this one is keep a Gimp 2.10 around for any ancient scripts. mhrealtama.scm originally dates from 2005 and Gimp 2.6 Using Ubuntu ? Perhaps get a Gimp 2.10 appimage
Updating to Gimp 3 will be some task. You can fix the registration to Gimp 3 requirements, then a Environment Map error. That takes you to a gimp-layer-new error. Fix that and it takes you to a gimp-image-get-active-drawable error and that is where is I stopped. That function does not exist in Gimp 3.
