@Ofnuts, "Preferably something that doesn't require to fire up Gimp just to read the documentation." -> yeah, that was my impression as well. Then the other options are either a static website (ideally with per-version sub-pages) or a more detached API browser application. One big upside of the in-process browser (or anything installed) is that it is available offline.
I see how the current Python browser behaviour is not good. This is a good thing to get fixed.
What do you mean by "Python wrapper"? Maybe this -> https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/bl...console.py? I'm not sure how PyCharm and others do Python integration these days. I'm only familiar with LSPs. Could you elaborate, if possible?
