You are trying to use a CMYK icc profile.
Gimp 3.0 is 100% RGB editor, you can not edit your images in CMYK mode. If you want to do that, then Load your RGB image into Krita, http://www.krita.org, convert to a CMYK mode, edit then export your finished work in a suitable format, jpeg / tif sometimes psd.
