Gimp 3.x scanner xsane plugin is now available!

I have not tried it yet but Mint 22 is based on 'buntu 24.04 The xsane package for that does not work (unless it was fixed since I last looked at it)

The test is - does xsane as a stand-alone work?

I will try a Mint 22 in a VM and see what happens.
