I do not think any confilct with apply LUT.
Just tried in kubuntu 22.04 and kubuntu 24.04 and everything works ok there.
What you could try. the plugin keeps its settings (profile) in ~/.gmic
Rename that as a backup, start gmic and let it make a new profile. Might work.
