Yes, but the problem I hope for a solution to - is the missing recording of mouse-actions in Configure Keyboard Shortcuts?
These work for me. But Control-left-click is so much used that even there it mya be captured before Gimp has a chance to see it. Dir you try other events (otjer mouse buttons, mousewheel...)?
