Ya know, dumping that Win11 AS, GIMP 3 on Linux is different enough from the Windoz' 2.10 one. Enough to make me lose 4 hours trying to find a 2.10 Fedora.RPM I could install. Pissing against the wind.
Pffffff I reinstalled 3.0.6... giving it a 2nd go. I can figure a shortcut to the style of pasting I need... "in place"... like it was in the 2.10 I was using on Windoz10.
But users shouldn't hit stuff like this. It's detrimental to Tux's future.
