You set the brush in the tool options, or by clicking on the brush thumbnail in the toolbox. If you are using a tablet, this selection has to be done with the tablet (there is a set of options per "pointer", so each pointer is used to change its own options).
thanx, Ofnuts. I'm using a Windows 11 Laptop. I'm trying to get rid of text and one option is to use the Clone tool. How do I revert back to a regular cursor if I don't like the results? I usually close out of Gimp and then try another option, but if the results are not what is anticipated, how does one 'clear' the cursor to start over?
