i ve learned here quite alot - this is so awesome - a great place for the learing and diving into all things GIMP!
i have tried to get all the steps into a step by step followup - and here is the step-by-step process for creating a dotted network in GIMP
This may - hopefully (!!!) help others too - that are willing to dive into the work of creating dotted networks.
for me it helps to write down the steps - to get all the necesary points: i am going to do this - and i am going to write down all the necessary steps - especially those that are the core of the issue - to create a dotted network.
hmm - perhaps others may help mehere to find out the most important steps:
