Subject: Font selection not working in GIMP 3.0 (Stuck on Default Font)

Hello everyone,
I am facing a very frustrating issue with the Text Tool in GIMP 3.2.2 on Windows. Despite choosing different fonts from the list, GIMP keeps writing in the default system font only.
Here is the situation:

• I select a font (like Cambria Bold or any Arabic font), and the name appears correctly in the Tool Options.
  
• However, the text on the canvas does not change at all; it remains in the basic default font.
  
• This happens with both Arabic and English text.
  
• I have already tried this on two different computers, and the exact same thing happens on both.
  

What I have tried so far:

1. Changing the font from both the side panel and the on-canvas editor.
   
2. Typing the font name manually.
   
3. Resetting the Tool Options to default.
   
4. Checking the font folders in Preferences.
   

I have seen some users online using this same version and the fonts work perfectly for them. Is there a specific setting or a library update that I am missing?
I have attached a screenshot showing my settings where the font name is selected, but the text on the screen is clearly not applying the style.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
