#2
(8 hours ago)ThomasNL Wrote: I'm not a frequent and wel educated user of Gimp and do have a question. Next to layer name in the Layers view ther is a small scissors symbol. How did I get it there and what does it mean? Furthermore, I was using the Difference function of the Path menu in that layer. This is the function I want the use in another layer, how tp proceed?

Thanks for helping out!

Please do not copy - paste images. You end up with a mess of MIME encoding.  Images (png / jpeg / ...) are attached see: https://www.gimp-forum.net/misc.php?action=help&hid=11

This is Inkscape

The little scissors indicates that 2 "objects" are "Clipped" example:

You can ask questions about Inkscape here: https://www.inkscape.org/forums/
