Thank you. I'll check it out.
I've already managed to style GIMP to my husband's liking.
What I mean is: it would be easy to style things if the gimp.css in the user's profile worked and would not be overwritten. And if elements in the GIMP UI had an id that we could use for styling. I'm used to writing css from web site building. I can use the Gtk Inspector (well kind of).
It's not practical to just copy a style from the installation folder to my user's folder. I would have to track the changes when there are updates and start work again. Ideally gimp.css would work in a way that I just define the changes I need and that file is loaded last and reliably overwrites defaults.
